POKéMON CHAMPIONS TOURNAMENT
Hey all! We're hosting our first Pokémon Champions tournament on Monday 15th June!
Entry is free, with signups from 6:30PM and bracket start from 7PM.
Some key information below:
- No entry fee, just make a purchase at the venue and you're okay to join!
- Signups begin at 6:30PM, and the bracket starts 7PM
- If you're running late and on your way, just send us a message on Instagram and we'll get you added to the bracket
- Please bring your own Switch, we're unable to provide Switches for everyone, and we figure it's easiest for everyone to bring their own!
- Please bring a charger just in case you run low during the event!
- We'll be following standard 2v2 rules for the event, with the current regulation set.
- The event is 18+ only as we are primarily a bar
The event should (hopefully) be wrapped up by 10PM, but be aware it may overrun depending on the turnout and pace!

I AM ARCADE #72 - FGC NIGHT - SF6 / Blazblue / granblue
Join us for a night of Fighting Games and fun as we bring you I AM ARCADE, a celebration of all things FGC at Meltdown London.
Marvel Rivals 5v5
SIGN UPS ON THE DAY FROM 6:30PM
Join us for our first Marvel Rivals 5v5! Format will depend on number of entrants but we’re aiming to run as many games as we can while rotating who’s on. You’ll be able to arrive later in the night too and we’ll rotate new players in with priority.
Players of all levels welcome and you can sign up solo or as a group, though we may break up some teams as the night goes on. You’re also welcome to bring your own equipment!
Entry is free, you just have to grab a drink before signing up at the laptop on the bar! See you there!
CHAOS DRAFT - MTG
We’ll be running a Chaos draft at the bar! We've got space for up to 8 people, but please message to reserve your slots still!
The draft will be a mix of Bloomburrow, Strixhaven, Spider-Man, TMNT and more! Entry fee is £18 and we'll be starting at 6:30PM! See you there!
Karaoke night
Join us from 9PM until midnight as we launch into another night of karaoke! Just come up to the bar and talk to the staff and we’ll queue up a song for you to rock out to!
PRERELEASE - MARVEL SUPER HEROES
Join us for the Meltdown Marvel Super Heroes Prerelease! We'll be open from midday, with deck building happening from 1PM.
If you turn up late you can still take part but you'll have less time for deck construction! Spots can be booked in advance via our website, Instagram or other socials.
Please let us know if you'll be running late, or have to cancel as we have limited spots.

PRIDE PARTY
This year we’re hosting our Pride Party with a touch of karaoke on the side! We’ll have the bar in pride décor with pride anthems encouraged on the mic! We’ll also be doing £7 house doubles all night long, so come down and celebrate with the community as we close out the month!

Final Fantasy X MTG - Booster Draft
Join us for a Final Fantasy draft at Meltdown London! Players of all levels welcome, and we'll be starting around 6:30PM! Signups in advance recommended via our website contact form or our socials (search Meltdown London to find us!).
Entry fee is £21 with a 10 player cap; there will not be a prize pool as we're splitting the whole box. Cheers!

K-Pop nights return to Meltdown with more focus on performance videos to round out the night! Come show us what you've practiced and enjoy all the latest releases at the bar!

League of Legends 2v2
Our in house series returns with teams able to sign up for a 2v2 tournament from 8:30PM!
Don’t have a duo? No problem, we’ll definitely be able to patch the numbers somehow. Format will be ARAM with first to 100CS, one tower, or two kills and should start around 9PM!
OVERWATCH 5v5
Our Overwatch event is moving to a regular Wednesday slot, with it potentially becoming bi-weekly depending on turnout!
Don’t have a full team? No problem, we’ll be matching up players without complete teams to make sure everyone can get in on the action. We’ll be playing the regular 5v5 mode and map selection will be done via voting!
- Signups are on the night from 6:30PM, with games beginning at 7PM, you can still join even if arriving later!
- You may bring your own controllers/peripherals if you want
- We will be using the Steam PC version of the game for ease of login
- Games will run until 10PM or so, and PCs remain available afterwards
- No entry fee, but you must make a purchase to take part!

Kat Gordon and Kat Dunn - The Barnsbury Book Festival
Join us on Sunday 19th of April for an afternoon with Kat Gordon and Kat Dunn as we explore themes of Myth, Saga and Vampires at Meltdown!
Tickets are available via the Barnsbury Book Festival website, with raised funds contributing to the repair of local landmark St Andrews Church, which is just around the corner of from the bar!
